19 Jul Citywide Park Days

For the past few years, we have set up a regular Friday each month when we encourage neighbors to get together and play.  It isn’t just for little ones though, big kids enjoy the time too!  This year we are looking at every 3rd Friday being a Citywide Park Day.  Would you consider sponsoring a park in your neighborhood?  The commitment is just to be there at the time frame you list.  It is also a good idea to set up a rainy day plan.  In Chelsea, we use the local McDonald’s.  You may have a better option in your neighborhood!  Comment here if you want to sponsor a park, or go to a specific date and comment there.  Let’s make sure Birmingham is covered!
