Birmingham Homeschoolers Community is joining the hashtag craze!  Why?  It’s a great way to stay connected and aware of what’s happening.

If you use Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, or Instagram, you can actually search and possibly subscribe to hashtag feeds.  So, Mom, go ahead and try it out!   Put one of our hashtags in the search box of your favorite social media.  See what suddenly appears!

Here are the hashtags we would love for you to start adding and searching:

#BHCFuture – relating to PreK/K families

#BHCTeen – relating to teens and their families

#BHC – anything BHC related!

#BHConIce – Ice Skating Day

#BHCLove – Valentine’s Day Party

When you post pictures and experiences  from events with BHC, please add our hashtags.  This gives us another way to share and connect.

We are actually needing a hashtag for our Easter Park Day in April.  Got a creative idea?  Click here to submit your idea.  On March 1st, the top 5 ideas will be posted for BHC members to vote!  The winner will receive the choice of a $10 iTunes gift card or $15 worth of BHC field trip credits.
