We are a community supporting homeschool families. When you joined us, you had to verify that you were a homeschool parent in the Birmingham, AL area.
Our community is not a place for solicitation. We do offer affordable sponsorship opportunities for small business owners and organizations that would like to promote their offerings to our families.
Be careful what you post here. Any questionable content or comments will be addressed, and a person may be removed from this community at an administrator’s discretion at any time.
Conditions for Event Reservations …
No Refund Policy
There is no refund policy for paid admittance as often group admittance is prepaid to the event location. When refunds are possible, we will issue a coupon code which you can use for future events.
Cancellation of a Reservation
If reservations are not paid by the reserve-by date, the reservation will be cancelled. This means if your check goes in the mail ON the payment due date, you are probably not going to attend that event. Checks must be received BEFORE the due date.
If we or one of the BHC organizers has to cancel an event, we will issue a refund or coupon codes for future event reservations. Organizers/events that are not BHC-sponsored will have their own refund/cancellation policies.
Informational Emails, Not Tickets
Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an informational email about a week before the event to direct you in where to be for admittance. If you do not receive an email by this time, please contact us immediately!
Most of our events offer admittance as a group, not as individuals. Hard copy tickets are often not issued. So…your informational email is quite important in getting you in the door.
Tardiness
If you do not arrive at an event by the times and using the instructions in the informational email, we cannot be held responsible for denial of admittance by event staff or location. It is not good to be late and have the whole group waiting on you either!

It is a requirement for you and your students to have fun and enjoy the activities! Smile, laugh, follow the event’s rules for safety, and help give BHC an open door for future events.
