SUMMARY:Kindergarten Graduation 2025
DESCRIPTION:BHC partners with Essential Church School to offer this special ceremony for the homeschool community. \n\n\n\nThis special day typically includes a slideshow of our graduates\, a personal recognition by parents\, opportunities to share accomplishments through presentations and table displays\, and a special cake reception for family and friends. \n\n\n\nFor your graduate to participate\,\n\n\n\nNEEDED BY APRIL 1 \n\n\n\nOrder any needed caps/gowns/tassels by April 1st (click here for options).  We encourage all graduates to have a cap and tassel.  Our group order helps keep cost low. \n\n\n\n\nORDEr NOW\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nNEEDED BY MAY 1 \n\n\n\n\nPay the graduation fee and RSVP below with graduate’s full name for diploma and preferred name for cake.  Space is limited.\n\n\n\nEmail 3 pictures of your graduate to us by May 1st.  Make sure you include at least 1 baby photo.  Email to info@birminghamhomeschoolers.com\n\n\n\nInvite family and friends to join us for this special day!\n\n\n\n\nFAQS\n\n\n\nWhat does the graduation fee cover?  Event space coordination\, personalized cake reception\, and printing costs. \n\n\n\nWhat do graduates usually wear?  Most graduates wear “church” clothes  with a cap\, gown\, and tassel.  We encourage all graduates to have at least a cap/tassel. \n\n\n\nWhat do parents normally say at presentation of diploma?  We have parents come up with their graduate to present the diploma.  Most parents share about the things that make them proud of their graduate\, but often it is a simple handoff and hug.  Please plan to keep your presentation to 3-5 minutes. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDO NOT CONTACT the church for information about the graduation.  They are only providing our event space.  They are not handling ANY of the graduation details or group arrangements.  All questions should be directed to BHC at info@birminghamhomeschoolers.com. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE DAY \n\n\n\nPlan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up your displays.  In the past\, parents have used presentation boards to display their graduate’s accomplishments with photos and examples of work from the school year.   Each graduate will receive about 2 feet of table space.  Space will be marked on the tables when you arrive. \n\n\n\nPlease note that helium balloons are not allowed. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAre you enrolled with Essential Church School?  Please visit the school website for kindergarten graduation registration information before completing forms.  Essential members get a discounted rate.

When Bernice the Butterfly finds an abandoned house in the woods\, she sets out to make it her home. Soon she is joined by Millie the mouse\, Fred the frog\, Richie the rabbit\, and Rudy the rooster. But when lovable Bartholomew the bear knocks on the door\, chilled to the bone in the pouring rain\, he finds there is no room. Through playful storytelling audiences ages 0-5 years will learn valuable lessons about friendship\, cooperation\, and the importance of embracing differences. Join an interactive adventure that celebrates the magic of home\, no matter how big or small! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Biggest Little House in the Forest is Birmingham Children’s Theatre’s next installment of Theatre for Very Young Audiences (TVYA)\, where children ages 0 – 5 are able to explore the world around them through the magic of live theatre. Through repetition\, rhyme\, song\, and a lot of audience interaction\, this show invites young kids to not just watch but experience creative storytelling. This show is great for kinesthetic learners who use movement\, testing\, trial and error in a non-traditional learning to retain and recall information. The space is fully interactive\, and the kids have agency in the space to play\, learn\, and participate in the story at their own pace.
